ASHTON
Sporty. Without looking like you’re trying to be sporty.
Ashton started with a simple idea: could we take some of the easy balance that made Ashley so successful and translate it into a men’s frame?
Well... not exactly.
What came out was Ashton — and it found its own personality.
A little wider, a little softer and deliberately relaxed. The rectangular shape has just enough curve to take away the hardness, while the straight topline keeps it masculine and clean. There’s no lift, no aggressive angles and nothing trying too hard to make a statement.
And then there is just a hint of sportiness.
Not sports eyewear. More the feeling of a classic casual frame, cleaned up, refined and made optical. You notice it in the proportions and the slightly stronger outside edges more than in any particular detail.
At 140 mm wide, Ashton sits in our medium-fit world but gives a little more room across the face — particularly nice for someone who finds many standard medium frames just a touch too narrow.
I actually wore Ashton myself for a while. For me, it may have been almost a little too well behaved. ;)
But that is also exactly why Ashton works.
Easy. Masculine. A little sporty. And very comfortable being none of those things too loudly.
