Grand began years ago as Grant, a Freudenhaus frame I designed and wore myself. I always missed something about it — not necessarily the frame, but the idea behind it. So I came back to it. Grand is not a remake. The proportions changed, the lines became cleaner and the whole frame grew a little more confident. No decoration, nothing competing with the shape. Just a strong rectangular silhouette and the simplicity I still prefer today. Maybe Grand is a little older and wiser than Grant. I’m not sure I am.

    The traditional size describes a 53 mm lens width and 20 mm distance between the lenses. These measurements only tell part of the story, which is why we also give you the overall frame width for a better sense of how the frame will fit.
